Overview

2004 was the first bottled release of Dark Lord. It was not celebrated as an organized event, so is arguably not the first true Dark Lord Day. That honor may belong to 2005. There were approximately only 20 people or so at the brewery upon opening to buy bottles on release day.

Unsure of the exact release date, evidence suggests it was released in March 2004. On or prior to the weekend of 3/19/2004 based on the March 25 entry on this blog. It was on draft at the Map Room early March 2004.
