Overview
Date was announced on September 14, 2023. Ticket Sales announced on January 10, 2024. This festival will be celebrating 20 years since the first Dark Lord Day in 2004.
On February 8th, they announced there would be 3 ticket tiers. Deluxe, Standard, and General Admission. This was the first year since 2015 that General Admission was offered.
Band lineup announced February 14th, variants were also teased showing partial labels. Guest Breweries announced February 16th. Variants officially announced on February 17th, the morning of ticket sales.
By early February, the website darklordday.com was set to redirect users to 3floyds.com, with information regarding the festival being provided there. https://www.3floyds.com/dark-lord-day/
Sybris was added to the band lineup on 3/16/24.
New label art featuring the work of artist Frank Frazetta was revealed on May 1st.

Dark Lord Whiskey
Prior to Dark Lord Day 2024, Three Floyds released Dark Lord Whiskey, a five year whiskey finished in select Dark Lord variant barrels. It was not availabe for sale at Dark Lord Day due to event license restrictions, but was available at the kiosk days prior to the event.

In honor of its ⚔️ 20th Anniversary⚔️, the Dark Lord universe is expanding . . .🗡️Dark Lord Straight Malt Whiskey🗡️ Aged for five years and finished in specially-chosen barrels used to house Dark Lord variants, we crafted this limited release to honor 20 years of Dark Lord. Within, you'll find notes of chocolate and cocoa that echo our Dark Lord Imperial Stout, plus added richness imparted from the barrels. Not be outdone, the label once again features Death Dealer art by the legendary Frank Frazetta in partnership with the Frazetta Art Museum – a fitting tribute for a twentieth anniversary party and a worthy partner once again to the beer. It's a more than formidable addition to your whiskey shelf.
Limited in quantity, Dark Lord Whiskey will be available at the Three Floyds retail kiosk beginning May 14th on a first-come, first-served basis for the magical price of $66.60. Please note, Indiana Law prohibits us selling bottles of whiskey on Dark Lord Day - this will only be available at our retail kiosk.

Tickets
On Sale: February 17th, 2024 at Noon.

One notable change this year was the ability to buy 4 tickets under a single name. Previous years were limited to 2 tickets.
Deluxe and General Admission tickets had high demand and appeared to all be in carts just minutes after sales went live, however they did not sell out for several hours, and as carts expired they became available again. Group A tickets appeared to have sold out around 5 or 6pm. Group B tickets appeared to have sold out on February 29th. Group C tickets were sold out by March 20th. Group D tickets were still available the day before the festival, sales were taken down before May 18.
