Overview
In honor of their 30th anniversary. Three Floyds announced that they will be releasing Dark Lord XXX, an exclusive bourbon barrel-aged variant, in 4-packs of 12oz bottles hitting retail shelves for the first time since 2005. This release was first reported in June 2026, when the TTB label approval was noticed as well as unconfirmed comments from distributors. But officially announced by Three Floyds on October 13.

In honor of our 30th anniversary, our most elusive beer is escaping the confines of Dark Lord Day and descending on retail shelves in 4 pack-12oz bottles for the first time in history.
Welcome Dark Lord XXX – an exclusive bourbon barrel-aged variant of our brutally massive Imperial Stout that you know and love.
An extremely limited amount of Dark Lord XXX will be released at our retail kiosk on Saturday, October 24 beginning at noon. Stop by to be one of the first to try XXX and celebrate the release with on-site printing of custom shirts and a wax-your-own bottle station.
Can’t make it to the kiosk? Never fear . . . Dark Lord XXX will begin hitting retail stores across most Three Floyds markets beginning October 26th.

Kiosk Sales started at 12:00pm, October 24. Retail release beginning October 26.

Red (Bottles were not waxed, but the wax your own station featured red wax if you chose to wax it there)

3 4-packs per person. $30 per 4-pack
Kiosk sold out around 3:30pm. Remaining to hit distribution.

By 11am there were maybe 25-30 people in line. Line seemed to top out at around 100 people before sales started at noon. 4-packs lasted until about 3:30pm.
Free samples of Dark Lord XXX were handed out to those waiting in line.
